About Ken
Ken Haynes is a standout REALTOR with a lifelong family presence in the Golden Isles. The Haynes family moved to St. Simons Island in 1972 before Ken’s 1st birthday. The family purchased deep water property in McIntosh County in 1976 which served as a 2nd home/fish camp for decades. In 1981, the family was led to Hilton Head Island where Ken graduated from high school and was off to Samford University in Birmingham, AL. After graduating and returning to coastal Georgia, Ken held a management position with Sea Island Company before entering the field of education as a middle and high school teacher in Georgia Public Schools. Teaching, coaching, and building relationships suited him well for 13 years. In 2017, he joined the BHHS Hodnett Cooper family. Ken has earned multiple accolades as a REALTOR. He is a lifetime member of the Golden Isles Circle of Excellence and has received Honor Society, Leading Edge, and President’s Circle awards from Berkshire Hathaway at the national level.
